Abstracts must be submitted before August 1st, 2025, to the following email address: conexp2025@uliege.be.

The abstracts must comply to the following guidelines:

• They must be written in English.
• Use Times New Roman font, size 12, in Word (.doc, .docx) or PDF format.
• Include a concise title, the authors and their affiliations, the email address of the corresponding author, and between 3 and 6 keywords.
• The abstract must describe the experiment, its results, and its application to archaeology. It should not exceed 2,500 characters, including spaces.
• The presentation can take the form of a traditional 15-minute oral communication, or that of a poster presentation associated with an experimental demonstration workshop, which will take place on Saturday 25th at the Préhistomuseum. All proposals are welcome; the workshops will take place in the presence of the general public. Participants choosing this format will be contacted later by the organization for all practical details. Please specify the desired format in the abstract.

Oral presentations must comply to the following guidelines:

• The presentation should not exceed 15 minutes.
• The PowerPoint slideshow must be in English.
• English is preferred but the presentation can be given in any European language (to reduce barriers).

Posters/Demo sessions must comply to the following guidelines:

• They must be presented in vertical A0 format (841 mm x 1189 mm) and associated with a dedicated session.
• Registration for the conference is mandatory for the first author listed on the abstract, even if they are not the one presenting the work.
